Graphic Design intro:
I have always been a crafty person. I like to do projects, paint and draw. I wrote poetry in middle school and continue to right here and there. In high school I took photography and fell in love because of the way I could be expressive. Graphic design interests me as I feel like I can learn a lot and push myself to try something more difficult. I plan on owning my own gym one day and feel that having the skills of graphic design will help make it my own and draw attention to the building and allow expression through art. Motion design is an area of graphic design I would like to explore. I feel that adding motion to art can add to what the viewer imagines and can help catch one’s eye. Another area of graphic design that has brought interest to me is the area of package design. This area is something that I could see myself using in my career and help put my brand out there. The way an artist uses images and writing can really sell your brand to consumers. Both these areas are three dimension and can have a bold statement when people see the design.
