Century vs. Helvetica
All five of the typefaces we learned in class have interested me in there own unique way but the two that caught my eye the most were Century and Helvetica. One thing that strikes me about them is that I feel that I see them the most in my everyday life. When I look at texts in magazines, adds on paper, signs on builds, and so much more you will typically see in these fonts. I enjoy the Helvetica font the most because it looks the most professional in writing. Usually, when I see the Helvetica typeface it’s in a message that the writer is trying to get across to the viewer. I feel Helvetica jumps out at you a lot more than Century making it better for advertising and convincing viewers that are reading the message.
