Grids & Framing

Framing influences the way something is seen because it creates a layout for the subject. When using framing and grids it allows you to adjust where the eye will focus on. I personally use grids and framing when filming journalism video. I use the rule of thirds when using grids to frame the subject in the perfect position to get the perfect shot. Language can frame things by setting the idea for the subject. When looking at something, the viewer tends to relate whatever word or phrase is assigned with the subject. This frames the way someone would view something while using language. Windows and doors have a literal frame to them creating a walkway.  Windows and doors also create the layout or grid for the house, allowing entry and exit points around the house.
