I like the fact that his work helped set new standards for graphic design and logo design. I learned that to create a successful logo, you have to consider the basics, including what logos are, what they are not, and what they are capable of being.\u00a0The reading tells us a lot about the progress of graphic design. I really agree with the reading when it says \u201c Progress in art does not lie in extending its limits, but in knowing them better\u201d. I really like this quote because it makes total sense, knowing a subject better gives you the opportunity of diving deeper into it.\u00a0I agree with the author&#8217;s perspective on teaching from my own perspective as a student. He argued that learning should be fun yet structured, incorporating games that allow students to enjoy themselves while engaging their brain in problem-solving activities. I really agree with his statement that some of our school&#8217;s little attempts are made to guide the student\u2019s thinking in a logical progression from basic design to applied design.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The reading was kind of hard to comprehend but I understood that Rand\u2019s work was designed to create a memorable experience and a lasting impression.
