I found it interesting to learn about how color was used in design, and am excited to begin working with colors in my designs. As the readings supported, I think that a lot more can me showed and expressed through the use of colors in artwork. It was interesting to read about how different colors are used to express different things in different cultures. I know from personal experience that in our culture in the United States, shades of red are often used in restaurants because they are supposed to make people hungry.<\/p>\n
I also thought that it was cool to learn about the different color wheels used in different mediums. The visuals provided with one of the readings were very helpful in showing the differences in color range between an artists color wheel, CMYK printing and a monitor. These color wheels showed me how much the use of computers, and improvement of design software, can open up countless new possibilities for designers looking to use color in their work.<\/p>\n
