Two areas of Graphic design that interest me the most are Motions Graphics and Grand Identity Designs. I am a Film major and work with building complex Motion-Graphic intros and I would like to further my abilities making these types of graphic intros in Adobe after-effects. Often times while making professional content, people want their information and logos Incorporated into a snazzy sequence along with a sound design at the beginning and end of their videos.

 Motion Graphics

Motion graphics brings logos and type designs to life using animations or videos to make the designs move. Below I have attached a two  YouTube links with examples of Motion graphics. These designs make a company or group look very well established and well produced, which can help drive business and views to your content. Sound design plays a massive part in the creation of motion graphics which is unique from most other graphic design categories.

Brand Identity Design

Along with animations and motion effects comes Brand Identity Design as an interest of mine, because clients often want to purchase a logo or have their existing logo re-worked. Having well designed logos inserted over video footage can have a great effect on the viewers. Inserting logos of well known sponsors over footage of an athlete will give a sense of a very established and elite competitor coveted by wealthy companies. Running a small business creating video content will require knowledge of logo creation and promotional designs for brands.
