What is Graphic Design? 02

Summary

Graphic design is found everywhere that you look or anywhere that you go. It is on bottles, food products, make-up products, stores, buildings.  Anywhere in reach and any place you go, graphic design is with you or follows you. Graphic design started on early cave paintings and its term developed in 1922. Presently, it has branched out on products and buildings all around the world.  There are many categories of graphic design, including Motion Design and Type Design.  Graphic designer’s take a special part in an exciting life of changing and advancing pieces. Forms of art like sculpture and architecture, beliefs that include storytelling, and music help influence the past, present, and future developments of graphic design. People who would like to major in Graphic Design have to know components of a successful design solution, which include time/budget, content, form, function, structure, usefulness, aesthetics, and distinction.

Motion Design

Sound, motion and time sequencing from pictures to words are involved in this specific field of design. With the use of making films, animations, and visual effects, your Motion Design project tells a story. Trailers and broadcast identifications fall under the types of Motion Designs. When your project is complete, it can be shown on television screens, cinemas, computers screens, and our cellular devices. What I find interesting about Motion Design is that your work is shown to the public eye. Everyone can be able to see your work, on your phones and on your own, at home television screens. Type Design

New fonts are created to make typeface families in this type of project, called Type Design. Letters, numerals, ligatures, and punctuation are elements of Type Designs.  Strong Knowledge and details from an artist are required in this field of design, to create a typeface in uniform. Designers use effort, expression and influence others to read the final pieces when they complete a Type Design. What I like about Type Design is the fine detail you can create within a typeface. Ligatures are fascinating to me because two letters are shown on top of one another to make a sort of illusion, but something that you can be able to tell and see how and what the word is expressed as. This link shows fonts, points, style distributions, and layouts in order to succeed a Type Design.

My personality

My personality is calm and bright. I can settle down on a picnic blanket outside to begin creating friendship bracelets for wither myself or friends. I find ways to stay positive when things don’t turn out the way I hoped they would. With my settling and cheery personality traits, I believe that I can form an interesting type of type design or motion design. Being calm and bright are different traits, but they seem to fit well together for me. If I create my own design with these traits, whether it may be type or motion designs, something intriguing will be expressed. Ligatures in type design fascinate me because of how the combination of letters on top of one another gives off an illusion or effect from the naked eye. In motion design, our piece that tells a story is displayed to the public. I imagine having my work shown to the public eye and it gives me a rush of excitement and happiness.
