Helvetica vs. Didot
These two typefaces are the opposites of each other. I really like Helvetica because it is simple and straight to the point. There are no games and you know exactly what you are looking at. With Didot, you also know what you are looking at but it is fancier. I like both of these typefaces I think of them like two different personalities. One is basic and the other is dolled up and decorative. Didot has brackets that make the letters look elegant. And on the other hand, Helvetica has no brackets whatsoever just simple letters with nothing special. Both have their place in the typeface industry.
Didot typeface is named after the famous French printing and typeface Didot family. I believe this fits perfectly with the description because France is very elegant and it matches the Didot typeface.
Helvetic was developed in 1957 by a Swiss designer and is widely used. This is a plain and simple font that is more so about the meaning of the context and not the typeface itself.
