Throughout this reading, we learn about the process of graphic design and how complicated it truly is. Graphic design is more of a personal process than anything else because it requires so much expression and personalization that allows the viewer to see bits of the designer within it. While emphasizing the personalization aspect of graphic design, this article also emphasized the importance of incorporating logic into designs. This could mean the durability of the design but focuses more on the purpose of the overall design, what is it suppose to do? With this in mind, the personalization and logic behind the design are the two main factors that make a design, a design.
To create a design that meets the guidelines or requirements of it, you want to be sure to think about the layout and different visual aspects that come into play when working on the logical aspect of the design. While the logical aspect is important, you don’t want to slack on the personalization of the design, after all, it is your design and you want it to reflect you in some sort of way.
