After reading these articles, it makes me realize the many effects that colors can have on different things. One aspect of color that is interesting to me is its ability to convey some type of mood. Something that I found to be informal was the color wheels that show you what colors would be complementary to one another and which are considered analogous. One thing about color that I had not realized before doing our last project and reading through these articles is how the absence of color (white) around some type of color can create an appealing image sometimes. I found it to be especially interesting how color can take on a psychological effect on different things. Something I was not aware of is how light is a big aspect of color, this made me think of a blacklight how the color changes when the light is turned on. Another aspect of color that I found interesting was the concept of color theory. When it comes to red this color may make you think of love but in other instances, it can represent certain things such as warnings and danger signs. The other things that need consideration when it comes to color are saturation, hue, and brightness – these things are referred to so they are able to show you colors that are similar yet different from one another.
