Framing is very crucial on our perspective, it strongly influences how we see and decipher something. Framing always catches your attention and is mainly crucial for dictating which way you turn your attention and what really catches your eye. It allows the artist to fully manipulate how we look at their art by pointing our eyes in a certain direction and almost instructing us on where to look. There are many different ways to do this, for example color, font, even the way words are typed can all change the way we perceive things. I am very OCD so to compare framing to my life I constantly seek dark backgrounds, I feel as though they appear more soothing to my mind as well as just overall cleaner. A good example with doors and windows is how things appear, even though they are the same size a black frame can make it appear smaller than a white frame would. When it comes to language, simply altering the text can drastically change the way the reader feels about what they are viewing. Framing has many different ways of being displayed such as Margins, bleeds forming cropping and text. Framing creates a lot of unseen organization inside my life that may go unnoticed by is very important in all of our lives, it helps create order.
