Framing
Frames affect how we perceive information, whether its present or absent. A frame can divide the an image from the background or it can be used as a transition between inside to outside, or foreground to background. Framing is all around us from out TVs which can only fit so much on a screen to our small iPhones to a camera all form frames with pictures and information inside. Everywhere you go is a different image and a different perspective, frames come in many different forms including frames with borders, frames inside frames, reframing, cropping, margins and bleeds. I believe your eyes set a frame everywhere you go, you can only see so much with your eye perceptive and this creates an image and makes information in your head. Say you’re at a football game and your son throws a touchdown pass but you turned your head and didn’t see it you lost that image and perspective and now you can’t see it again, it’s all what the human eye can see and store as information. It really makes you open up your eyes and realize everything is in a frame.
