This reading helped me understand the different techniques that graphic design artists use in order to frame their work. Throughout this reading, we learned about the infinite amount of possibilities and designs of frames. Our color translations are a good example of framing because of the 6×6 box that constrains the design while also allowing the focus to be the overall design and its contrasting colors. While the frame helps wrap the design up together, it also provides the viewer with a way to direct their focal point to the design.
