Victorian Graphic Design Style: 1837 – 1901
I enjoy the style from the Victorian design Era because they got creative with adding extra drip into their designs with hug letters and complex designs in the typeface. The designs are used in tons of retro styled designs to this day because of the unique style they had, especially on product containers. I like that the typeface is not yet boring old Helvetica .
Art Nouveau Graphic Design Style: 1890 – 1920
I like the Art Nouveau Era because of the style that was used incorporating unique character art and very creative typeface design. I like the intricate designs of the backgrounds and the way most of the designs fill the pages.
Futurism Graphic Design Style: 1900 – 1930’s
I like the futurism style better than anything in the catagories. The clean lines and solid color shapes and overall simplicity makes this style visually appealing to me. A lot of the designs I like, and the designs i make seem to kinda be influenced by this style of design.
Grunge Graphic Design Style: 2000 – 2010’s
Realistically I like grunge style designs the best considering I am a 90’s baby. Lots of album covers and the artists and media I grew up with is in this style of design. I usually use this style with my own design work even if I use other styles to tweak my designs.
