The use of space is very important. Space is the use of shapes/objects and backgrounds. Its important that they work together and look nice. If you don’t have a nice clean design it can be hard to focus on what might be important. After reading the chapter on the use of space I looked around at my dorm to see how I perceived all the placement of items and other things. My walls are not really cluttered. On them I have lights going around the top of the wall and one poster. My bed and belongings are usually put away nice and nothing seems to cluttered. However my desk can kind of be the cluttered area I have. Its not always cluttered but sometimes I have my laptop, phone, water bottles, pens, pencils, notebooks, and school books taking up all the space. So that could definitely would be the active space I use. For my empty space it will probably by the rest of the wall or the ceiling because it is bare and you don’t really pay attention to it.
