Elements of Graphic Design

I grew up very neat with my art, always trying to perfect every little detail so that It could best be pleasing to my eyes, and to everyone else’s too. This article made me think of that straight on head of mine during times I would paint my masterpieces. Everything had to be on point or else I didn’t like it. I didn’t know about so many terms back then, besides “negative space”, but naturally I tried my hardest to have my pieces be eye pleasing. This showed a side of me that was naturally drawn to “sophisticated” set up of art, like this article entails. Eventually I surpassed this perfectionist style and began to scribble, draw outside the lines, and let my hand flow freely. I began to love this kind of art most recently, just letting myself create what ever I felt, no intentions, and no rules. As this article explains that art of Graphic Design is very much sophisticated in a way that it must be laid out correctly. I feel that I don’t need to bring back out that protectionist that I once was, but just. to understand how something might look better laid out in certain fashion, to catch viewer’s eyes, will help me understand the art of Graphic Design.
