Frames are what keeps things organized. Without frames there would be no sense of order. Frames are used everywhere. Picture frames, boarders, door frames, and so much more. How does a frame make everything all come together? Frames draw attention in to what it contains. For instance, a portrait will have a boarder of a frame that helps give it a sense of focus upon itself. In my personal experience I always feel having a frame makes a piece more vibrant. I know just to purchase a painting or a picture with a frame compared to without one is more expensive. This is because a frame brings the piece more attention. A frame is a boarder that takes something so complex and simplifies it into a shape. It can make something appealing or easy to the eye which draws in that short attention span we all have. If something does not seem organized or well put together, there may not be a lot of interest towards it. That’s why having a frame creates that collectiveness to whatever it contains. Not only do frames work for pictures, but they work for windows and doors as well. Frames are used for windows and doors as a way to bring something simple to more of a complex look. We really do not need frames for our doors or windows, but to simply keep in the glass and held up a standard. Overall, frames will never be out of our lives. They can play a big role more than we know it.
