The perspective of frame to me is focusing in on a certain area. For instance, a camera only snaps a section of what area you are seeing in real life. In my personal experience, when I am focused on one area of my life, I look most at that area. For instance, saving up for a car. When I wanted a car, all I could think about was how much I had to work to get the money I needed. I can relate language and frame by thinking of when you are in a different country. Say you are in Spain, your only language is English so your resources can be limited. Now, your frame is only focused on areas you can go with English speaking people. The ‘frame’ is your area of where you are able to go based on the language you know. This area is like a dorm, it opens up to where you can go. That is how doors can be related to frame metaphorically. However, physically, doors frame where a hallway or room goes. From the door, you can only see so much of said room, the same idea as how a picture allows you to see what the camera captured. With a window, it is the same idea, and with window frames, they are almost like the grid to what you can see. After reading about frames, I now have a realization of how framing can work by editing a photo, or just leaving it alone.
