Motion Design + Type Design
What really had stuck out to me in the chapter was something other than my two topics of interest (Motion Design + Type Design). I found lots of interest reading about Graphic Design Heritage. In that section of the chapter the author mentioned that people would draw animals onto the wall and this could bring them motivation to hunt, this being in times when people had to hunt in order to survive. That alone was just super cool to me that people were being so creative in finding ways to just get up and get motivated. Other than that, I had found myself most interested in the topics Motion Design and Type Design, just because it purely excites me and I see myself creating things in those categories.
Motion Design
GIFs, animation, visuals, trailers, stop motion all fall under the category of Motion Design. Motion Design can easily be described as a picture with sound or movement. This type of design brings life to the root of the designers creation, making it a “finished product”. An example of this can be by noticing a simple logo on the wall but maybe we can find a “live” version of that logo on our cellphones, laptops, monitors, or televisions, in which the logo now has motion or sound added to it. The finished products can be very visually pleasing.

Type Design
Type design is so interesting in how it can so subtle in changing someones perspective on something visual or the way they feel about it. This type of art is simply about font! Type design creates letter forms and fonts of a whole alphabet along with punctuation and numerals. This type of art can really bring a unified emotion/feeling into something, but I feel each font can feel different to everyone individually because we all have our own taste. Some people may like one font and others may feel it is hideous.
