The way that I use color is very boring and bland. I really like dull and neutral-looking colors, like black and white with maybe some grey. If you were to look at what my wardrobe would look like, only those colors and some brown and darker colors. I think that I like these colors because I am a very introverted person. I like to be by myself, and I believe that the way we present ourselves or express ourselves is through what we were and what colors. For example, the LGBTQ community is represented by a very bright and rainbow-colored flag. The flag expresses that they are bright and passionate individuals. When reading these three articles, I found myself thinking that maybe it is time for me to get some brighter colors or some different colors other than a neutral black and white. It also makes me wonder if my color sense has made other people think that I am sad or a closed-off person because of my color selection. When reading the article by Ellen Lupton, it kept making me think of mood rings and how people wear them, and they change color based upon their current mood. I found the articles interesting, and I am excited to work with some color shortly.
