After reading these articles, I feel that I have found a new apprection for colors. Before, I felt that I have never fully appreciated colors and how big of a purpose they had. Colors can convey a mood or story to a piece of art. Colors can help draw attention to or camoflauge certain parts of an image to convey the artists’s story. Something I found interesting that I have never fully known before was how colors mean different things to each culture. It is really interesting to know that each culture can appreciate colors in different ways, and how they can hold such high appreciation. I also love how colors have such a broad range, and their are numerous varieations and mixes of colors. Its so fascinating that mixing one color with another can completely change the whole shade of the color, and how different amounts added together can make the biggest difference of how it looks. Its so cool to see how pairing different colors togther in an image can change the whole mood. You can mix different dark shades together, light shades, or commpletely blend the two and add so many colors toghether to make it how you like it. Mixing and putting different colors together can really tell a story or portray a feeling that can sometines be hard to put into words, which is something thatIi love.
