I personally really like the concept of framing, I think it makes things look more put together and make them look finished. I really like crown molding in a house because it adds character to the rooms. I like picture frames because it captures a moment in time that you can keep forever. In magazines I like when they drawn your eyes to spots on the page with different types of frames. I find it really interesting how much our eyes and brains can be swayed by simple frame work. Looking at it from the other side, framing can also be seen as not needed. More modern artist don’t like frame use because thy like everything to bleed together. They like it ending more naturally and not because of a frame. Language can frame things in many ways. The way someone chooses to speak to someone else s a type of framing. When someone asks someone a question they are framing what their brain thinks of. They can do this by asking certain questions to lead you into thinking a certain way. Overall, I really like the concept of framing, and I like how it is used in your everyday life and you might not even realize it. Windows are like a real life picture frame because it frames what you are looking at on the other side of the window. It can capture what is going on outdoors and really paint a picture. The same thing can happen with doors when they are open. When they are closed they can frame a house. I think this is really wholesome because it can frame the happiness of a childhood or a family who is growing inside. This is really interesting to me because when the door is shut it is really up to imagination what the door is framing.
