target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/color.adobe.com<br \/>\n<\/a>Experiment with the color sliders, move them around to find the colors you want, and create color schemes in the categories below.<\/p>\n<p><em>***I want you to not have all 5 categories have the same colors in them, for example: have them all blue because you &#8220;like blue&#8221;. Experiment outside your comfort zone, sometimes those colors work best on translations, such as dijon mustard yellows or obnoxious slimy greens.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Analogous<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Monochromatic<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Triad<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Complimentary<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Compound<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Name the color themes with a descriptive and interesting name. Look at the colors in your group and ask &#8220;how does it make you feel&#8221; or &#8220;what does it remind you of?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>For example, name your colors with a prefix of the color type:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Analogous<\/strong> =<\/li>\n<li><strong>Monochrome<\/strong> =<\/li>\n<li><strong>Triad<\/strong> =<\/li>\n<li><strong>Complimentary<\/strong> =<\/li>\n<li><strong>Compound<\/strong> =<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>and a descriptive and interesting name :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>analogous \u2013 rusty nails<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>compound \u2013 scissor fight<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>complimentary \u2013 iguana explosion<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>monochrome \u2013 burnt sun desert<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>triad \u2013 cotton candy at the county fair<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>3<\/h1>\n<p><strong>Save your color schemes with playful and interesting names<\/strong> such as <em>analogous \u2013\u00a0<\/em><em>green tea diffusion<\/em>, or monochrome<em>\u00a0\u2013<\/em>\u00a0<em>burnt sun desert<\/em>. Look at how colors are named for paints such as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.behr.com\/consumer\/colors\/paint#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Behr<\/a>.
