One pretty obvious difference between the two type faces is that Baskerville is a transitional which is a bridge between old typeface and modern typeface. \u00a0Didot is a modern typeface which means it is a new version any old style of a typeface. I like both but Baskerville seems to have more flow and more authentic with their lettering.
