I never really thought about the effect of certain colors on me and how they might weigh me down or lift me up. I tend to gravitate towards darker colors mainly because of how intimidating they can come off. By doing this, I make it harder for people to find me approachable or can dampen my own mood with it. I find that when I have at least one brighter color in my outfit, I tend to feel better. I keep a lot of brighter\/warmer colors around me in my room back at home. I definitely see how that’s affecting my mood in a positive sense when I’m there. At Keene, Abi’s side of the room is a lot warmer and more welcoming than mine so it’s a nice contrast and balance from my darker colors. This has also made me consider adding warmer\/welcoming colors to my wardrobe. Especially since we’re in spring and my darker colors seem to weigh me down. I look forward to working with color in the next section of the project. I really liked reading about color and its theories! They are definitely something I will keep in mind!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Learning that certain colors can create certain moods was interesting to me.
