Graphic design has been shaped\/changed by social, cultural, political, and technological circumstances. Graphic design is the result of many art movements being combined together. It is important to understand the importance each graphic design movement. Understanding them all creates an emphasis on the significance of the different pieces of art.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Surrealism<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Surrealism is one of my favorite graphic design styles that I read about. Surrealism started to be noticed as the dada art style trend was coming to an end. This style of art is cool because its based around dreams and the exploration of the mind. The images and pieces of art are like something from hallucinations. They are really bizarre and make you question the reality of them. Cubism is the use of using distinguished geometric shapes and objects to make art look like its one picture but actually made up of different geometric sections. De Stijl is a form of art, made of straight lines and primary colors. Most notably LSD and ACID because hippies though it expanded their mind.
