One thing I really enjoyed while reading was seeing brand identitie’s change over time. It made me look at the aspect of branding of not just sticking with one thing and being open to change. I think this quote really describes how I started looking at branding, “To be successful, brand builders need to stick to the basics, stay calm on the roller coaster of relentless change, and seize every Opportunity to be the brand of choice.” I also liked reading the guidelines of when start to change a brand. It was really informative and gave me a broader vision for how to understand branding. I also really liked reading about the logos and understanding their importance. This quote helped me se the importance of branding as well as the effect it can have, “When you close your eyes and picture McDonald’s, what do you see? Golden arches? For those products and services that have a strong brand identity, it’s the identity that people often think of first rather than the product itself.” This made me think how important it is to have strong branding and how big it can make a company.
