Notes+3 Characters

  1. Chloe Beale

She balances out Aubrey as she’s often kinder than her to the Bellas. She’s very much so the group’s emotional support dog. Chloe failed the same class three times in order to stay with the girls and not graduate, although she’s not as strict as Aubrey is concerning the songs they sing like she cares about the group’s success in a non-ruthless way. So, she’s motivated by the group winning but outside of that she’s interested in Becca and being a vet so her major would probably be biology. She also very much so likes hugs
    2. Stacie Conrad

Engineering major, she is the Mezzo-soprano of the group and takes pride in her appearance and sexuality. She has a passion for singing and dancing and, moving past the part where she’s just there to be the overtly sexual character, has small moments of being an emotionally sensitive and friendly person. I’d say she’s motivated in having a friend circle that cares about her(She is there to socialize and/or get laid) and would be interested in civil engineering
    3. Jessica Smith

English Major, she is very bubbly and energetic and often gets confused with Ashley. She can also sing the highest out of the Bellas. She seemed to have joined for the fun of it so she’s more motivated by her own experience within the group rather than being hellbent on success(she is there to chill). Jessica seems to initiate a lot of physical contact as affection but more like being close to someone rather than Chloe’s full blown hugs

Notes on the film: Humor still mostly holds up and it’s more campy than I remembered it being. However, I think the film is about freedom in individuality and how embracing what makes people unique in the context of a group working together can lead to interpersonal improvement. As it didn’t matter what the outcome of nationals was, what mattered was they liked preforming with each other and were able to do so with confidence
