My overall reaction of the movie was alright. i believe the movie is about the main character dealing with grief after the incident with her mother. but also about teenage kids messing around with a force they shouldn’t be which is a classic thing. i like how in the movie the kids at first get a thrill and think its amazing on what they are doing without realizing how dangerous its which something is usually what teenagers in high school will do. i think what the director was trying to tell is that messing with spirits is bad and you never know you will call, because that will very much haunt you and hurt you.
Daniel
Daniel is the love interest of jade and has had love problems with Mia in the past. Daniel is a religious student and is involved in a love triangle with Mia and jade. he hasn’t done anything with jade even though they been together for a few months now which annoys jade. Daniel witnesses Mia use the hand and after 90 seconds he goes in to help remove the hand that mia wont let go. Daniels turn to use the hand and invites a mischievous spirit that says things and makes perverted actions, after he is done he becomes horrified by what happened. the moment that makes Daniel swear off of using the hand was when riley went to have a try and starts to deform his body and rip his eye out.
