I enjoyed the reading, and I think it definitely provides some helpful and useful tips that I certainly want to keep in mind while I’m designing in the future! One that I appreciated was more towards the middle- don’t design based on fads. I think it’s so easy to fall victim to seeing a cool trend in design happening and try to design a logo with/based on it. Trends can be great for a post, but not for a logo- they are far too fleeting, especially in today’s age of media. In the same regard, I agree with the sentiment of keeping it relevant to your business. A logo is usually the first thing someone sees about your brand, so making it fit the vibe is key to pulling in the correct target audience. Going along with that, I agree that it’s important to have a very distinctive logo so your clientele automatically can tell your business from others in similar categories- there are a lot of floral shops with flower logos, but the key is making it different to set yourself apart and stay memorable.
