Create nine different logos using your (final) thingbats, lorem ipsum and various typefaces to represent different commercial sectors.

01: Finalize 3 Thingbats

Refine and finalize your Thingbats.
Look at the pencil above. Small movements of the pieces create big changes. Keep refining your top three thing bats based on our critique. Make small adjustments to really polish these.

02: Create your Logos

Choose your favorite refined Thingbats: Use the one you like best.
Lorem ipsum words: You will be assigned 3 words by roll of a D20.
Typefaces: You will choose a different typeface for each of the nine logos.

Examples

Create a three page Illustrator file with 8.5 x 11″ pages.
Copy your three final thingbats into the file
Put your assigned word on each page
Combine your thingbat with your words to create your logos
You should be able to guess what commercial sector it is from (cafe, military, sports, education, retail)
Export the designs to a single PDF and save as lastname_ThingbatLogo_V1.pdf
Upload to your01_Thingbat Dropbox folder.
Print in color on 11 x 17″ to submit for class.
