Short Description of each country
Mauritania is a smaller former French colony located on the west side of Africa. It is mostly desert and all of its farm lands are permanent pastures. It faces the danger of desertification with overgrazing of its lands.
India is the most populated country on the map. It faces the problem of overpopulation and how to feed / support all of those people. India has been on a population boom in recent years.
United States is the second biggest producer of carbon dioxides, china is pretty far ahead of it but considering how much it produces compared to china that makes sense. The united states faces turmoil constantly, but probably thrives in a way off of that.

Story the data tells
The first data point shows how much the area can provide for itself, by farming its own lands to produce its own food. The second data point shows carbon dioxide emissions, or in other words how much the land consumes. And the final data point shows how many people live and breathe in that area. All in all this dataset shows a story of gratuitous excess, showing that some lands consume way beyond there needs. It shows this by comparing how much it can produce for itself, with how many people live there and how much it consumes.
