Use these guidelines when making posts for the site.

Everything is a design problem and your posts will be evaluated on these criteria.

General

• Use proper categories for all posts (not ‘zero’).
• Use proper capitalization, spelling and grammar.
• Cite the authors for all included example work (if possible).

Paragraphs

• Use simple bolding of headers in most cases.
• Remove colons “:” after headers on their own line as they don’t need them.
• Use shift+return between paragraph header and paragraph to keep them together like this:Header
  This is a paragraph. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco
• Avoid centering the page titles or headers.
• Remove all extracharacter returnsbetweenelements.
• Create clear divisions for different sections using headers images and horizontal rules.

• Do not underline text anytime.
• Do not use multiple colors for text or header elements.

Links

• Test all links before publishing.
• Use descriptive link names.

• Do not use ‘naked’ URL links such as:
  https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/20/movies/scary-movies-summer.html
• Links should open a new page.

Images

• Resize huge (over 2000 pixels width or height) images in PhotoShop before uploading. They slow down the site.
• Use medium sized images for design examples (600px or less)
• Use the gallery function for 4 or more images
