Cartoon Character Design

Company/Organization:
Prairie House Innovations

Job/Internship Description:
Collaborate with me to design a cute cartoon character whose head and face will be integrated into the working part of a product. This would be more than just decoration on the product, as there are engineering constraints on certain proportions of the head.

This free lance work can be done on your own schedule, and may eventually include development of advertising materials, packaging, and web design. The key skill required is creativity and the ability to sketch adorable cartoon animal characters. The rendering should be in the simple pen and ink style typical of cereal box mascots such as Tony the Tiger.

This will be a logo for a child safety product. The character must exude confidence and trustworthiness, while being a cute, helpful dinosaur. Think of a cuter less dopey version of Barney the Purple Dinosaur, whom you’d trust to play with your kids while protecting them from mischief. Submit your portfolio or sketch samples consistent with the above constraints.
