Film
For this project I will be filming a couple simple videos of my friends. The first video will be him played back in a chair, and standing up and walking out of the frame. The other video of my friend will be him playing his guitar. Between these two videos will be a video of some fish in as tank at petco.
Music
I’m thinking heavily on the Grateful Dead, or at least something in the realm of them. I think it can be paired with some trippy background effects. My first thought of a song was Shakedown Street, but there are so many Grateful Dead song to choose from.
Rotoscope Effects
The animation starts out with my friend sitting in a chair, standing up and walking out of frame. This action will be rotoscoped out with a trippy effect going on inside the rotoscope. Then there will be more effects going on in the background, and it transitions to my rotoscoped fish, and they will be swimming with similar effects in their rotoscope as well. Then, one of the rotoscoped fish will scale all the way up in size, and be used as a transition into the last rotoscope, which will be my friend jamming on his guitar, with some sort of “aura” effects emerging from it.
