Title Examples:
This sequence uses abstract horror visuals and symbolic imagery. I want to use distorted imagery and hidden meanings.
This title sequence uses scratchy text, quick cuts, and disturbing imagery. I want to use the chaotic typography and unsettling pacing.
This title sequence moves through the mind and body in a surreal way. I want to use the idea of traveling through thoughts, memory, and trauma.
Elements to Implement:
I want to use glitchy and distorted typography to show mental instability. I want to include fog, water, and the lighthouse as repeating visuals in the sequence. I want to use quick flashes of memories and symbols. I also want to use a dark color palette with a strong contrast.
Vision:
My approach is to create a psychological and immersive title sequence that puts the viewer inside the main character’s mind. The sequence will feel disorienting and unclear, just like the film’s theme. I want to blend the reality and illusion by using fragmented imagery, shifting environments, and symbolic visuals like lighthouses, water, and fire. The typography will feel unstable, grungy and imperfect to reflect his mental state. Overall, the goal is to build tension and curiosity before the film begins and hint at the hidden truth without revealing it.
