I really want to include the use of a heavy flash while also having these flat images move in certain parts while other parts may be more type heavy. I am still mulling over what style I want to go with but I think minimalism may fit the film better.
I want to capture the dichotomy of the main characters alter ego and herself. That moment of feeling trapped within yourself and being controlled by “someone else” but also needing it. I think the themes of misogyny in the movie and the main character feeling aged out and her want to be perfect can really grant me a lot of creative moves. There are a lot of symbolic moments in the movie I can use in a disturbing fashion. The movie has this sense of being very garish and has a big sense of anxiety, while also balancing out the bright lifestyle of stardom.
