Prior to doing these readings I had a general idea of how the layers and selection processes work but I didn’t know anything about the blending modes. Blending modes have been so much fun to mess around with and I have been using the levels trick we learned in class to get rid of the orange coloring more than I thought I would. Additionally, masks are seriously useful as well, the ability to apply a filter (or blending mode) to only one part of an image is seriously powerful and I’m glad photoshop provides it. I will be using the color correction levels blending mode combined with layer masks to make sure all of my little buddies are looking good in the environment I place them in.
